We can put a concrete pool in your backyard.
If you’re dreaming of spending warm, summer afternoons in your very own backyard pool, you’ve probably thought about installing a concrete pool. Concrete pools are one of the pool types we design and install at Greenville Pool & Supply, and we’re excited to make all of your pool dreams come true.
Concrete pools are a popular pool type here in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and putting a concrete pool in your backyard can add significant value to your home. Here’s the process we follow when we install concrete pools:
- After digging the hole where the pool will go, we create a concrete shell by spraying the area with shotcrete or gunite.
- Once we spray the area with gunite or shotcrete, it needs time to harden and strengthen during the curing process. This can take up to 28 days, depending on the pool.
- After the hardening process is complete and all the needed equipment is installed, you can fill your pool with water and start enjoying it.
While concrete pools are typically more expensive than fiberglass and vinyl pools, they’re well worth the investment. Concrete pools are extremely durable, very customizable, and once installed, they are a beautiful addition to any outdoor living space.
